ELASTIC CROSSLINKED METATHESIS POLYMER COMPOSITION Abstract of the Disclosure An elastic crosslinked metathesis polymer composition is disclosed comprised of a copolymer of a norbornene-type com- pound which metathesis polymerizes to a linear polymer and a norbornene-type compound having a second double bond of similar reactivity which forms a crosslinked polymer, and a hydrocarbon-based extending oil. Norbornene and dicyclo- pentadiene are typical comonomers. Polymerization is carried out by a RIM or resin injection molding process.
