A protection tool is provided to protect a control line in a safe area while one or more slips of a spider are being closed. In another embodiment, a safety interlock system is provided to prevent the closing of the slips before the control line is pulled away from the tubular string. In yet another embodiment, a safety interlock system includes a safety interlock trigger adapted to be actuated by a protection tool. The safety interlock trigger is adapted to detect the physical presence of the protection tool, and thereafter send a signal to the interlock system to enable an operator or a control mechanism to safely close the slips.
L'invention concerne un outil de protection pour protéger une ligne de commande dans une zone sécurisée tandis qu~un ou plusieurs glissements d'une boîte de distribution sont fermés. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, un système de verrouillage de sécurité est disposé pour empêcher la fermeture des glissements avant que la ligne de commande ne soit retirée de la colonne tubulaire. Dans encore un autre mode de réalisation, un système de verrouillage de sécurité comprend un déclencheur de verrouillage de sécurité adapté pour être actionné par un outil de protection. Le déclencheur de verrouillage de sécurité est adapté pour détecter la présence physique de l'outil de protection, et par la suite envoyer un signal au système de verrouillage pour permettre à un opérateur ou un mécanisme de commande de fermer en toute sécurité les glissements.
