The present invention relates to screening methods, and in particular, to methods of screening DNA libraries to identify DNA molecules which when expressed in a host cell, give rise to at least one change in the phenotype of the host cell and such phenotype changes being detected using a patch clamp chip construct. Furthermore, the invention concerns the isolation of mRNA, corresponding to the DNA molecule, giving rise to said cellular phenotypic change.
L'invention concerne des procédés de criblage et, en particulier, des procédés de criblage de banques d'ADN afin d'identifier des molécules d'ADN qui, lorsqu'elles sont exprimées dans une cellule hôte, donnent lieu à au moins un changement du phénotype de la cellule hôte, ces changements de phénotype étant détectés au moyen d'une construction de circuit patch-clamp. Elle concerne aussi l'isolation d'ARNm, correspondant à la molécule d'ADN, donnant lieu à ce changement phénotypique cellulaire.
