The proposed Self-Regulating System of High Speed Ground Transportation Based on Permanent Magnets designated for magnetic levitation, stabilization, and propulsion of vehicles moving with high speed without friction. The proposed system comprises two functionally connected and interacting with each other subsystems: (a) a Magneto-Dynamic Levitation and Stabilizing Self-Regulating System (MDLSS), and (b) a Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM). Both systems comprise permanent magnets and steel cores. MDLSS provides levitation and stabilization of a vehicle suspended in magnetic field produced by its own permanent magnets while PMLSM produces propulsion force providing the assigned alternative velocity of the vehicle along the designated trajectory of the guideway by interaction of the magnetic field of the vehicle magnets with the current traveling wave in the stator winding powered by the current of constant frequency. Each of said subsystems comprises two main parts: a fixed guideway/stator (which is common for both subsystems) including extended steel cores of MDLSS and extended three-phase windings of PMLSM, and moving together with the vehicle permanent magnets of the levitator of MDLSS and permanent magnets with steel cores of the rotor of PMLSM. Each of the subsystems is self-regulating and operates without fast response control system.

La présente invention a pour objet un système de transport de surface, à haute vitesse, auto-régulateur, à sustentation magnétique, faisant appel à l'utilisation d'aimants permanents pour assurer la sustentation magnétique, la stabilisation et la propulsion de véhicules sans frottement. Le système proposé dans les présentes comporte deux sous-systèmes placés en interaction fonctionnelle : (a) un système de sustentation et de stabilisation magnétodynamique auto-régulateur (SSSMA) et (b) un moteur linéaire synchrone à aimants permanents (MLSAP). Les deux systèmes comportent des aimants permanents et des noyaux d'acier. Le SSSMA assure la sustentation ainsi que la stabilisation d'un véhicule en suspension dans un champ magnétique produit par ses propres aimants permanents, tandis que le SSSMA produit une force propulsive qui imprime au véhicule une vélocité prédéterminée sur une trajectoire prédéfinie en mettant en interaction le champ magnétique des aimants du véhicule avec l'onde progressive générée par le bobinage d'induit placé sous tension à fréquence constante. Chacun des deux sous-systèmes se compose de deux parties principales : un stator/guide (commun aux deux sous-systèmes) incluant les noyaux d'acier étendus du SSSMA ainsi que les enroulements triphasés pré-étendus du SSSMA, en mouvement solidaire avec les aimants permanents du lévitateur et les aimants permanents des noyaux d'acier du rotor du SSSMA. Chaque sous-système est auto-régulateur et fonctionne sans faire appel à un système de commande ultra-rapide.
