SIGNAL PROCESSING CIRCUIT FOR A COLOUR TELEVISION CAMERA ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A signal processing circuit for a colour television camera comprises filters supplied with an input signal comprising, in multiplexed state, a plurality of amplitude-modulated colour component signals obtained from a camera tube of the colour television camera and operating respectively to filter the high- frequency components of the input signal, detection and proces- sing circuits for detecting the output signal of the high-pass filter and producing signals whose DC components have been restored, and for carrying out gamma correction white clipping, linear clipping, blanking signal mixing, or like signal processing with respect to the produced signal, a low-pass filter supplied with the input signal from the camera tube and operating to filter the low-frequency component of the input signal, a proces- sing circuit for carrying out signal processing with respect to the output signals of the low-pass filter, a matrix circuit for matrixing the output signals of the detection and processing circuits and the processing circuit and obtaining three primary colour signals, and a colour encoder for obtaining a composite colour video signal from the output three primary colour signals of the matrix circuit. - 2 -
