ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a silent valve, consisting of a body in which a shaft having thread is rotatably positioned for helical engagement with a piston carrier. Piston carrier has an opening on its head, in which a boss of the piston is positioned. The piston is removably secured to piston carrier by teeth which grasp a circumferential flange of the piston. A ring-like seal is positioned on the piston for selective opening of slots on the hollow portion of head for allowing fluid to flow through the valve. Piston carrier also has a flange with notches receiving cogs of securing element, positioned on the neck of the shaft.
