The invention relates to sized glass fibres covered with a sizing composition which is essentially aqueous and comprises a combination of at least one polyurethrane A and at least one polyester B in a weight ratio A/B of less than 3. The glass fibres thus obtained are used to strengthen polymer matrices in order to produce translucent composite materials, for light roofing tiles in particular.

L'invention a pour objet des fils de verre revêtus d'une composition d'ensimage, essentiellement aqueuse, qui comprend l'association d'au moins un polyuréthane A et d'au moins un polyester B, dans un rapport pondéral A/B inférieur à 3. Les fils de verre obtenus sont utilisés pour renforcer des matrices polymères en vue de fabriquer des matériaux composites translucides, en particulier des plaques pour toiture légère.
