ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An article of footwear for travel over snow has a snow blade with front and rear support platforms spaced apart longitudinally of the snow blade for supporting front and rear portions, respectively, of the user's foot. The front and rear support platforms are secured to the snow blade so as to be movable towards and away from one another in response to flexure of the snow blade to facilitate walking by the user.
