ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus for supporting screen in a screening machine that will permit long-life of the screen even when subjected to heat and vibration. The screen or wire cloth edge is folded over and fastened or joined with a metal rod inserted down through the fold-over space. Spring clips or other adjustable tensioning devices attach the steel rod to the screening machine frame, thus placing the screen in tension.
