SUBSTITUTED-2,3-DIHYDRO-2-OXO-1,5-BENZODIAZEPINES AND THEIR USE AS FUNGICIDES Abstract of the Disclosure A method of controlling fungus is provided which comprises contacting said fungus with a fungicidally effective amount of a compound having the formula: Image wherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of substituted or unsubstituted, straight or branched alkyl having from 3 to 10 carbon atoms, or substituted or unsubstituted aryl having from 6 to 20 carbon atoms, R2 is selected from the group consisting of substituted or unsubstituted, straight or branched alkyl having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or substituted or unsubstituted aryl having from 6 to 20 carbon atoms, R3 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, alkenyl having from 2 to 10 carbon atoms, or substituted or unsubstituted aryl having from 6 to 20 carbon atoms, and R4 is hydrogen or halogen, provided that when R4 is halogen, R3 is the same halogen.
