The present invention is concerned with novel sulphuric acid esters of amino sugars of general formulae Ia, Ib and Ic: Image Ia Image Ib Image Ic wherein, B signifies lower alkylene or an optionally substituted aromatic ring system; G1, G2 and G3 each independently signify a residue of a glyco- pyranoside, a glycopyranose or a derivative thereof, with at least one hydroxy group of residue G1, G2 or G3 being esterified with sulphuric acid, and pharmaceutically usable salts thereof. The compounds are suitable as therapeutically active substances for the treatment of disorders which are characterized by excessive or destructive proliferation of smooth muscle cells.
