The invention relates to a multilayer sun blocking stack formed on a sheet of vitreous material, comprising at least one functional layer made from a material that reflects infrared radiation and comprising at least two dielectric coatings, each functional layer being surrounded by the dielectric coatings. Said stack, when it is placed on an ordinary clear float sodiocalcic glass sheet having a width of 6 mm, has a solar factor FS of less than 45 % and a light transmission TL of less than 70 %. According to the invention, the stack comprises an essentially metallic absorbent material based on the following elements: Pd, Pt, Au, Ir, Rh, Ru, Os, Co, Ni, Cu, Cr, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, W, Si, Zn, Mo, Mn, Ti, V, Nb, Hf, Ta and alloys thereof, placed in immediate proximity to the functional layer or included in this functional layer. The invention is particularly advantageous for forming selective glazings exhibiting a high level of sun blocking and having a nice aesthetic appearance and, in particular, glazings having been subjected to a high-temperature tempering and/or bending heat treatment.

L'invention se rapporte à un empilage anti-solaire multicouche, formé sur une feuille de matière vitreuse, comprenant au moins une couche fonctionnelle à base d'un matériau réfléchissant le rayonnement infrarouge et au moins deux revêtements diélectriques, chaque couche fonctionnelle étant entourée de revêtements diélectriques. Le dit empilage, lorsqu'il est déposé sur une feuille de verre float clair sodo-calcique ordinaire de 6 mm d'épaisseur, présente un facteur solaire FS inférieur à 45% et une transmission lumineuse TL inférieure à 70%. Selon l'invention, l'empilage comprend une matière absorbante essentiellement métallique, à base des éléments suivants : Pd, Pt, Au, Ir, Rh, Ru, Os, Co, Ni, Cu, Cr, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, W, Si, Zn, Mo, Mn, Ti, V, Nb, Hf, Ta et leurs alliages, disposée à proximité immédiate de la couche fonctionnelle ou incluse dans cette couche fonctionnelle. L'invention est particulièrement avantageuse pour former des vitrages sélectifs à protection solaire élevée et aspect esthétique agréable, et en particulier de tels vitrages ayant subi un traitement thermique à haute température de type trempe et/ou bombage.
