A surface modification process which comprises using a modifier compound containing a silane, titanium or aluminum atom and a fuel gas comprising air and hydrocarbon gas at an air/hydrocarbon gas mixing ratio by mole falling within a specific range and which can attain prescribed surface modification against a solid substance stably independent of the boiling point of the modifier compound, environmental conditions, or the like. According to the process, a flame of a fuel gas having an air/hydrocarbon gas mixing ratio of 23 or above and a prescribed modifier compound are blown against the surface of a solid substance by use of surface modification equipment.
L'invention concerne un procédé de modification de surface, qui consiste à utiliser un composé modificateur contenant un atome de silane, de titane ou d'aluminium, et un gaz combustible comprenant de l'air et un gaz hydrocarbures selon un rapport de mélange air/gaz hydrocarbures par mole compris dans une plage spécifique et permettant d'obtenir une modification de surface prédéfinie d'une substance solide stablement indépendante du point d'ébullition du composé modificateur. L'invention concerne également des conditions environnementales ou analogues. Selon ce procédé, une flamme de gaz combustible dont le rapport de mélange air/gaz hydrocarbures est de 23 ou plus et un composé modificateur prescrit sont soufflés sur la surface d'une substance solide au moyen d'un équipement de modification de surface.
