The invention relates to a surgical instrument for preparing implant beds in the lower jaw. Said instrument comprises a drilling element with a spinous configuration and a handle fixed to said element. According to the invention, the drilling element comprises a first truncated cone, whose outer surface line forms a maximum angle of several degrees with the axis of the truncated cone and whose outer surface is smooth. The handle is positioned at an angle in relation to the axis of the aforementioned truncated cone.

L'invention concerne un instrument chirurgical servant à préparer des lits pour implants dans la mâchoire inférieure. Cet instrument chirurgical comprend un élément de perçage en forme de mandrin ainsi qu'une poignée qui est fixée sur cet élément de perçage. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que l'élément de perçage comprend un premier cône tronqué dont la génératrice forme un angle de quelques degrés au maximum avec l'axe du cône tronqué et dont la surface latérale est plane.
