To overcome the disadvantages normally associated with fixed video surveillance cameras from which a video signal is continuously recorded, a security and/or surveillance electronic control system comprises a plurality of infrared sensors (S1,S2,S3) each on activation providing a respective input signal (I1,I2,I3) to a corresponding one of a plurality of input latches (L1,L2,L3). Output control means of the control system are adapted in use:- a) to interrogate sequentially the input latches (L1,L2,L3) until an output signal (O1,O2,O3) is sensed; b) on sensing a given output signal (O1,O2 or O3) to pause sequential interrogation for a pre-set period, to cause operation and/or movement of the camera or other visual sensing means to have a field of view associated with the particular sensor (S1,S2 or S3) initiating the said given output signal (O1,O2 or O3), and to initiate a reset signal (R1,R2 or R3) to reset the latch (L1,L2 or L3) corresponding to said particular sensor (S1,S2 or S3), and c) to alter said pre-set period in accordance with the frequency with which output signals (O1,O2 and/or O3) are sensed.
Pour surmonter les inconvénients habituellement associés aux caméras de surveillance vidéo fixes utilisées pour l'enregistrement continu d'un signal vidéo, un système électronique de sécurité et (ou) de surveillance comprend un certain nombre de détecteurs infrarouges (S1, S2, S3) qui, lorsqu'ils sont activés, envoient chacun un signal d'entrée (I1, I2, I3) à un verrou d'entrée correspondant (L1, L2, L3). Les moyens de commande de sortie dudit système sont adaptés en cours d'utilisation pour les fonctions suivantes : -a) interroger séquentiellement les verrous d'entrée (L1, L2, L3) jusqu'à ce qu'un signal de sortie (O1, O2, O3) soit détecté; b) sur détection d'un signal de sortie donné (O1, O2, O3), suspendre l'interrogation séquentielle pour une période prédéfinie, mettre en marche et (ou) en mouvement la caméra ou d'autres moyens de détection visuelle afin d'avoir un champ de vision associé au détecteur particulier (S1, S2, S3) d'où provient ledit signal de sortie donné (O1, O2, O3), et émettre un signal de réenclenchement (R1, R2 ou R3) pour réenclencher le verrou (L1, L2, L3) correspondant audit détecteur particulier (S1, S2, S3), et c) modifier ladite période prédéfinie selon la fréquence avec laquelle les signaux de sortie (O1, O2 et/ou O3) sont détectés.
