A novel method based on sequential writing for fabricating of advanced fiber Bragg gratings is disclosed. As opposed to already presented sequential methods, this scheme uses a continuous wave UV laser source and allows for a very precise control and repetitively of the formation of the gratings. Furthermore, one can use high average irradiances without destroying the fiber, resulting in a dramatical shortening of fabricating times for complex gratings.
L'invention concerne un nouveau procédé basé sur l'écriture séquentielle pour la fabrication de réseaux de Bragg dans une fibre évolués. Contrairement aux procédés séquentiels déjà existants, ce schéma utilise une source laser ultraviolet onde continue et permet une commande très précise et répétitive de la formation des réseaux. En outre, on peut utiliser des rayonnements en moyenne élevés sans détruire la fibre, ce qui entraîne une nette réduction des temps de production de réseaux complexes.
