A method and system are disclosed for rapid placement of tubes within a body cavity that includes placing a compliant cannula (140) over a probe tip (130) of a cutting device until the probe tip extends beyond the cannula, incising the tissue covering body cavity to create an opening therein, inserting the probe tip of the cutting device until the cannula placed thereon extends into the incision, removing the probe tip while leaving the cannula inserted within the incision, introducing a distal end or tip of a tube (145) into the cannula a predetermined distance, and removing the cannula over the tube while retaining the tube in position within the body cavity.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de mise en place rapide de tubes à l'intérieur d'une cavité corporelle. Le procédé de l'invention consiste: à mettre en place une canule élastique sur l'embout de sonde d'un dispositif de coupe jusqu'à ce que l'embout de sonde dépasse de la canule; à inciser la cavité corporelle recouvrant des tissus afin d'y créer une ouverture; à insérer ledit embout de sonde du dispositif de coupe jusqu'à ce que la canule mise en place sur l'embout s'étende dans la partie incisée; à retirer l'embout de sonde tout en laissant la canule insérée dans la partie incisée; à introduire une extrémité distale ou un embout d'un tube dans la canule selon une distance prédéterminée; et à retirer la canule sur le tube tout en maintenant le tube en position à l'intérieur de la cavité corporelle. Le dispositif de l'invention comprend une pièce d'étanchéité qui est fixée sur le corps sans points de suture et qui présente une ouverture, ainsi qu'un tube qui passe à travers cette ouverture et qui s'y adapte sans points de suture.
