The invention provides a system and a process for collecting effluents produced by an electrolytic cell (1) intended for the production of aluminium and for drawing said effluents away from the cell in a flow of gas. The system comprising a hooding (20) to confine the effluents, at least one outlet channel (25) to collect said flow of gas and suction means to draw said flow of gas away from the cell. The hooding (20) includes removable hoods (21) and, optionally, at least one door (23) to get access to the inside of the hooding. The system further comprises at least one pipe (50) for blowing pressurized air within the outlet channel (25) so as to increase the rate of said flow of gas. Pressurized air supply (53) is activated at a specified pressure Po so as to obtain a specified flow rate Ro.
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant de collecter les effluents générés par une cellule électrolytique (1) destinée à la production d'aluminium et de retirer lesdits effluents de la cellule dans un courant gazeux. Le système comprend une hotte d'extraction (20) pour confiner les effluents, au moins un canal de sortie (25) pour collecter ledit courant gazeux et un moyen d'aspiration pour retirer ledit courant gazeux de la cellule. La hotte d'extraction (20) comprend des hottes amovibles (21) et éventuellement au moins une porte (23) donnant accès à l'intérieur de la hotte d'extraction. Le système comprend en outre au moins un tuyau (50) permettant de souffler de l'air comprimé à l'intérieur du canal de sortie (25) en vue d'augmenter la vitesse dudit courant gazeux. L'alimentation d'air comprimé (53) est activée à une pression spécifiée Po de manière à obtenir un débit spécifié Ro.
