A method for embedded encoding of at least two types of information is described. A first message and a second message are received. The types of a first encoder and a second encoder are determined. The rates of the first encoder and the second encoder are determined. A first codeword and a second codeword are generated. A mapping rule for the second codeword and a coding rule for the first codeword are determined. The second codeword is mapped into a plurality of symbols using the mapping rule. A third codeword is determined using the first codeword, the plurality of symbols, and the coding rule. The third codeword is then transmitted. The third codeword includes at least two types of information.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de codage en emboîtement d'au moins deux types d'information. Après réception d'un premier message et d'un deuxième message, on détermine les types d'un premier codeur et d'un deuxième codeur, ainsi que les débits du premier codeur et du deuxième codeur. On génère un premier mot de code et un deuxième mot de code, et on détermine une règle d'application pour le deuxième mot de code et une règle de codage pour le premier mot de code. On applique le second mot de code à une pluralité de symboles en se servant de la règle d'application. On détermine un troisième mot de code au moyen du premier mot de code, de la pluralité de symboles, et de la règle de codage. On transmet alors le troisième mot de code, lequel troisième mot de code inclut au moins deux types d'information.
