The present invention relates to a T pipe for connecting a reduced branch pipe to a main pipe and to a method for producing such a pipe. The invention is characterized in that said T pipe comprises a thermoplastic connection piece (1) including a connection (2) for the branch pipe as well as a base part (3) essentially matching with the curvature of the main pipe and being essentially rectangular viewed in the direction of the central axis of said connection (2), said base part being butt welded to a pipe ring (4) having a size similar to that of the main pipe and a width similar to that of the base part (3), instead of a piece removed from said ring pipe and having a size similar to that of the base part (3).
L'invention a trait à un tuyau en T permettant de raccorder un tuyau d'embranchement réduit à un tuyau principal, ainsi qu'à un procédé de production dudit tuyau. L'invention se caractérise en ce que ledit tuyau en T comporte une pièce de raccordement (1) thermoplastique constituée d'un raccord (2) pour le tuyau d'embranchement et d'une partie base (3) correspondant sensiblement à la courbure du tuyau principal et étant sensiblement rectangulaire vue dans le sens de l'axe central dudit raccord (2), ladite partie base étant soudée bout à bout à un collier (4) présentant une taille similaire à celle du tuyau principal et une largeur similaire à celle de la partie base (3), à la place d'une pièce provenant dudit tuyau à collier et présentant une taille similaire à celle de la partie base (3).
