PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION L'invention est relative aux techniques de production de microsphères creuses en verre. Des particules d'un verre silico-sodo-calcique renfermant des composes du soufre en faibre teneur mises en suspension dans un courant gazeux passent dans un brûleur à une température supérieure d'au moins 100°C à celle d'élaboration du verre constituant les particules traitées, à partir de matériaux de base traditionnels tels que sable, chaux, carbonate de sodium, sulfate de sodium et autres. Cette façon de procéder permet d'accroître le rendement de la transformation des particules.
