This detection device has an armrest that reduces arm strain upon the user. The armrest is ergonomically designed to fit the user's forearm. The user does not have to shift their concentration from searching due to body fatigue. The principal concern of the invention is to provide an improved lighted inspection mirror that has a unique, versatile, and non restraining armrest for use by law enforcement personnel, military, bomb technicians, corrections personnel, private and governmental security agencies which telescopes and provides a non glare illumination of items. The mirror is detachable and this allows the user to just pop out the mirror if it is broken, rather than replace the whole frame, as it usually required in other surveillance detectors. The mirror has the ability to pop out of its bearing with minimal resistance. The mirror is pivotal and this allows the user to move the mirror as is needed for their investigation. The mirror can pivot and the angle range is from 65 degrees to 200 degrees. The holder that contains the flashlight is also pivotal. The user can determine where to tilt and align the light as required. The light can be angled to where it can give the user greatest illuminousity. The flashlight is designed to not shine directly onto the mirror. Therefore, reducing the glare from the mirror, which competes with the sight that the user is investigating.
