The invention relates to compositions and methods for treating a patient having a tumor in order to reduce tumor size, comprising administering to the patient a replication-competent Paramyxoviridae virus comprising two or more of a) a nucleic acid sequence encoding a heterologous polypeptide, wherein upon administration the heterologous polypeptide is detectable in a biological fluid of the patient, and detection of the heterologous polypeptide is indicative of Paramyxoviridae virus growth in the patient and reduction in tumor size; b) a recombinant F protein, H protein, or M protein of Paramyxoviridae virus that increases fusogenicity of virus with cells; c) a nucleic acid sequence encoding a cytokine; and d) a Paramyxoviridae virus that is specific for cells of the tumor.
L'invention concerne des procédés et des compositions thérapeutique pour un patient présentant une tumeur, afin de réduire la taille de cette tumeur. Le procédé consiste à administrer au patient un virus paramyxoviridae de réplication comprenant deux ou plusieurs des éléments suivants: a) une séquence d'acide nucléique codant pour un polypeptide hétérologue, le polypeptide hétérologue pouvant être détecté dans un fluide biologique du patient, après administration, et la détection de ce même polypeptide indiquant la croissance du virus paramyxoviridae chez le patient ainsi que la réduction de sa taille; b) une protéine F de recombinaison, ou une protéine M de virus paramyxoviridae augmentant la fusion d'un virus avec des cellules; c) une séquence d'acide nucléique codant pour une cytokine; et d) un virus paramyxoviridae spécifique aux cellules de la tumeur.
