Tissue products are disclosed that contain a hydrophobic additive, such as a polysiloxane. In accordance with the present invention, the tissue products are further treated with a wetting agent which improves the wettability properties of the base sheet. The wetting agent may be applied after application of the hydrophobic additive to one or more surfaces of the base sheet (10) in a manner that includes areas (12) treated with wetting agent and untreated areas (14).

L'invention concerne des produits de papier sanitaires ou domestiques contenant un additif hydrophobe tel qu'un polysiloxane. Ces produits de papier sont en outre traités avec un agent mouillant qui améliore les caractéristiques de mouillabilité de la feuille de base. L'agent mouillant peut être appliqué après l'application de l'additif hydrophobe, sur une ou plusieurs surfaces de la feuille de base (10), d'une manière permettant d'obtenir des zones traitées avec l'agent mouillant et des zones non traitées (14) .
