An antenna array (10) employing continuous transverse stubs as radiating elements is described, which includes an upper conductive plate structure (22) comprising a set of continuous transverse stubs (30, 31, 32 ~), and a lower conductive plate structure (24) disposed in a spaced relationship relative to the upper plate structure. The upper plate structure and the lower plate structure define with a side plate structure (26, 28) an overmoded waveguide medium for propagation of electromagnetic energy. For each of the stubs, one or more transverse device array phase shifters (50) are disposed therein.

L'invention concerne une antenne réseau (10) formée d'éléments rayonnants qui constituent un réseau de dispositifs transversaux continus, à structure de plaque conductrice supérieure (22) comprenant une série de dispositifs transversaux continus (30, 31, 32 ), et une structure de plaque conductrice inférieure (24) espacée par rapport à l'autre structure de plaque ; ces deux structures définissent avec une structure de plaque latérale (26, 28) un milieu de guide d'ondes à mode non restreint (<=overmoded>=) pour la propagation de l'énergie électromagnétique. On place dans chacun des dispositifs transversaux un ou plusieurs systèmes de décalage de phase de réseau de dispositifs transversaux (50).
