In an in vitro fertilisation method, a woman is treated with a hypothalamic hormone and/or a pituitary hormone or an agonist or antagonist thereof or an active derivative thereof for a short period of time and, thereafter, using in vitro oocyte maturation egg or eggs are retrieved from the woman and are maturated using a meiosis activating compound.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fécondation in vitro qui consiste à traiter une femme avec une hormone hypothalamique et/ou pituitaire ou bien un agoniste ou antagoniste correspondant ou bien encore un dérivé actif correspondant, pendant une courte période, puis à utiliser ensuite la maturation d'oocyte in vitro pour recueillir un ou plusieurs oeufs dont la fécondation est assurée par un composé activant la méiose.
