The present invention relates to a stable, aqueous odor-absorbing composition, for use on inanimate surfaces. The composition comprises from about 0.1 % to about 5 % by weight of the composition, of solubilized, water-soluble, uncomplexed cyclodextrin, from about 0.01 % to about 1 % by weight of the composition of low molecular weight polyols. Optionally, but preferably, an effective amount of solubilized, water-soluble, antimicrobial preservative, having a water-solubility of greater than about 0.3 % and perfume. The composition is essentially free of any material that would soil or stain fabric.
La présente invention concerne une composition aqueuse stable, absorbant les odeurs et destinée aux surfaces inanimées. La composition comprend environ 0,1 % à environ 5 % en poids de cyclodextrine non complexée, hydrosoluble et solubilisée, ainsi qu'environ 0,01 % à environ 1 % en poids de polyols de faible poids moléculaire. La composition comporte éventuellement, mais de préférence, une quantité suffisante d'un conservateur antimicrobien, hydrosoluble et solubilisé, dont la solubilité dans l'eau est supérieure à environ 0,3 %, ainsi que du parfum. La composition est sensiblement exempte de toute substance susceptible de souiller ou de tacher les textiles.
