A method of treating a fluid stream underwater comprising integrally attaching a skid to a fluid stream treating vessel (44) so that the fluid stream treating vessel can be disposed on an underwater floor in a position such that an opening (45) in said vessel is at a highest point on said vessel when disposed on the underwater floor; remotely directing a fluid stream treating vessel (44) to an underwater floor location sufficiently close to said fluid stream so that the fluid stream can be remotely attached in fluid communication with said fluid stream treating vessel; remotely connecting said underwater fluid stream to said fluid stream treating vessel for treatment of said fluid stream; treating said fluid stream by contact with a treatment media (55) disposed within said treatment vessel, maintained at equilibrium water pressure at the depth of treatment; and flowing the treated fluid stream out of said treating vessel.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de traitement d'un courant de fluide sous-marin qui consiste à fixer en une seule pièce un châssis à un récipient de traitement de courant de fluide (44), de telle sorte que le récipient de traitement de courant de fluide peut être disposé sur un fond sous-marin dans une position telle qu'une ouverture (45) dans ledit récipient est au point le plus élevé sur ledit récipient lorsqu'il est disposé sur le fond sous-marin; à diriger à distance un récipient de traitement courant de fluide (44) vers un emplacement de fond sous-marin suffisamment proche dudit courant de fluide, de telle sorte que le courant de fluide peut être relié à distance en communication de fluide avec ledit récipient de traitement de courant de fluide; à relier à distance ledit courant de fluide sous-marin audit récipient de traitement de courant de fluide pour le traitement dudit courant de fluide; à traiter ledit courant de fluide par contact avec un milieu de traitement (55) disposé à l'intérieur dudit récipient de traitement, maintenu à une pression d'eau d'équilibre à la profondeur de traitement,  et à faire sécouler le courant de fluide traité hors dudit récipient de traitement.
