The invention concerns the use of an efficient amount of a polyfunctional coupling system (A) as inorganic-elastomer filler coupling agent in rubber compositions including: (B) at least one elastomer such as natural or synthetic rubber; (C) an inorganic filler as reinforcing filler; (D) all or part of the constituents or additives normally used including in particular one (or more) vulcanizing agent(s). Said use is characterized in that: the polyfunctional coupling system consists in combining the following ingredients (A1) and (A2): (A1) is at least one coupling agent selected among the functionalized organosilicium compounds of following formula (I): [(G0)3SiO1/2]m [(G0)2SiO2/2]n [G0SiO3/2]o [SiO 4/2]p [(G2)a(G1)a'(Z-CO-N=N-CO-A )SiO(3-a-a')/2]q, wherein the symbols Z, A, G0, G1, G2, a, a', m, n, o, p and q are such as defined in Claim 1; (A2) is at least one coupling agent selected among either polysulphurated "symmetric" silanes, or sulphurated "asymmetric" silanes; said polyfunctional coupling system (A) is incorporated in isoprene elastomer-based rubber compositions.

Le domaine de l'invention est l'utilisation d'une quantité efficace d'un système polyfonctionnel (A) de couplage comme agent de couplage charge inorganique - élastomère dans les compositions de caoutchouc comprenant : (B) au moins un élastomère de type caoutchouc, naturel ou synthétique ; (C) une charge inorganique à titre de charge renforçante ; (D) tout ou partie des autres constituants ou additifs habituellement utilisés comprenant notamment un (ou des) agent(s) de vulcanisation ; ladite utilisation étant caractérisée en ce que : + le système polyfonctionnel de couplage (A) consiste dans la combinaison des ingrédients (A1) et (A2) suivants : (A1) est au moins un agent de couplage choisi parmi les composés organosiliciques fonctionnalisés de formule (I) suivante : [(G0)3SiO1/2]m [(G0)2SiO2/2]n [G0SiO3/2]o [SiO 4/2]p [(G2)a(G1)a'(Z-CO-N=N-CO-A )SiO(3-a-a')/2]q dans laquelle les symboles Z, A, G0, G1, G2, a, a', m, n, o, p et q possèdent les définitions indiquées dans la revendication 1 ; (A2) est au moins un agent de couplage choisi parmi soit les silanes polysulfurés "symétriques", soit les silanes sulfurés "dissymétriques" ; + ledit système polyfonctionnel de couplage (A) est incorporé dans des compositions de caoutchouc à base d'élastomères isopréniques.
