The present invetion relates to the use of type I IFN for the preparatoin of a non toxic adjuvant compostion for enhancing TH-1 type humoral immune response to a vaccine in a in vivo protective immunization treatment weherein IFN is used in a dosage greater or equal to 100.000 U/ml, per dose of vaccine. The present invetion further relates to a kit of parts including a non-toxic adjuvant composition comprising tpye I IFN and a vaccine including at least an antigen for separate, simultaneous or sequential use in the prevention or treatment of a disease associated with the presence of said antigen.
L'invention porte sur l'utilisation d'un interféron de type I pour la préparation d'une composition adjuvante non toxique permettant d'améliorer la réponse immunitaire humorale de type Th-1 à un vaccin dans un traitement d'immunisation de protection in vivo, dans lequel l'interféron est utilisé en quantité supérieure ou égale à 100 000 U-ml par dose de vaccin. L'invention porte également sur un kit de parties contenant une composition adjuvante non toxique renfermant un interféron de type I et un vaccin contenant au moins un antigène destiné à être utilisé de manière séparée, simultanée ou séquentielle dans la prévention ou le traitement d'une maladie associée à la présente dudit antigène.
