A vane assembly (20) for a gas turbine engine (10) comprising a plurality of vanes (22) and at least one annular shroud ring (34) with a plurality of openings (54), each opening having a grommet (28) located therein. The grommets have cut-outs (44) defined therethrough for receiving a vane extremity, the grommets functioning as isolating means for the vanes and are shaped to form a continuous gas path surface (52)completely covering an axial extent of the shroud ring (34). The grommets (28) are preferably made of a flexible, elastic material, such as rubber or the like, in order to be able to dampen vibrations in the assembly. The assembly is advantageous in instances of foreign object damage, and simplifies installation and replacement of vanes by alleviating the need for adhesives.
La présente invention a trait à un ensemble d'aubes (20) pour une turbine à gaz (10) comportant une pluralité d'aubes (22) et au moins un anneau d'étanchéité radial (34) avec une pluralité d'ouvertures (54), chaque ouverture renfermant une rondelle (28). Les rondelles présentent des entailles (44) définies à travers celles-ci pour la réception d'une extrémité d'aube, les rondelles agissant comme moyens d'isolation pour les aubes et sont conformées pour former une surface trajet de gaz (52) recouvrant entièrement une étendue axiale de l'anneau d'étanchéité (34). Les rondelles (28) sont de préférence réalisées en un matériau élastique souple, tel que du caoutchouc ou analogue, afin de pouvoir amortir les vibrations dans l'ensemble. L'ensemble présente des avantages dans certaines situations de dommage par corps étrangers, et simplifie l'installation et le remplacement des aubes en réduisant la nécessité d'utiliser des adhésifs.
