Very tough polyolefin blends The blends, according to the invention, of polyethylene and polypropylene havingimproved notched impact strength are distinguished by the fact that they containa) from 36 to 64% by weight of isotactic propylene homopolymer, b) from 35 to 63% by weight of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and c) from 1 to 10% by weight of a random copolymer comprising from 75 to 85% by weight of ethylene units and from 15 to 25% by weight of propylene units, all stated percentages by weight being based on the total weight of the respective blend.

Mélanges de polyoléfines très résistants. Selon l'invention, les mélanges de polyéthylène et de polypropylène ont une résistance améliorée au choc après entaillage et se distinguent par le fait qu'ils renferment : a) de 36 à 64 % en poids d'un homopolymère isotactique de propylène, b) de 35 à 63 % en poids de polyéthylène haute densité (HDPE), et c) de 1 to 10 % en poids d'un copolymère statistique renfermant de 75 à 85 % en poids d'unités d'éthylène et de 15 à 25 % en poids d'unités de propylène, tous les pourcentages étant donnés par rapport au poids total du mélange.
