Abstract of the Disclosure Disclosed is a vibration-damping material for absorbing vibrations generated from a vibration source such as a motor of a machine or an engine of a vehicle. Specific amounts of (i) a curing agent and at least one member selected from a scaly filler, a particulate filler and a fibrous material or (ii) a solid epoxy resin, a curing agent, a plasticizer and a filler are incorporated into an epoxy resin which is a diglycidyl ether or triglycidyl ether of a branched polyol having 3 to 20 carbon atoms or a polymer thereof. This vibration- damping material has excellent vibration-damping performances and is excellent in workability, adhesion and durability.
