ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for reproducing a video disc, on which synchronizing signals recorded in adjacent tracks are positionally non-coincident with each other, while executing track jumps in a varied-speed reproduction mode, wherein a reproduced video signal in a stable state after a track jump is written in a field memory and then is read out therefrom in synchronism with a reference synchronizing signal, thereby ensuring satis- factory picture reproduction with reduction of any picture disorder that may otherwise be caused by the track jump.
