A sealant composition comprising an inverse emulsion polymer and methods of servicing a wellbore using the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method of servicing a wellbore that penetrates a subterranean formation is disclosed. The method comprises placing a sealant composition comprising an inverse emulsion polymer into the wellbore to reduce a loss of fluid to the subterranean formation during placement of the fluid in the wellbore.

La présente invention concerne une composition de matériau d~étanchéité comprenant un polymère d~émulsion inverse et des procédés destinés à l~entretien d~un puits de forage utilisant cette composition. Dans un mode de réalisation, on utilise un procédé d~entretien d~un puits de forage qui pénètre une formation souterraine. Le procédé consiste à placer une composition de matériau d~étanchéité comprenant un polymère d~émulsion inverse dans le puits de forage afin de réduire une perte de fluide dans la formation souterraine lors du placement du fluide dans le puits de forage.
