A weatherstrip insertion tool for the insertion of weatherstrip into a continuous polyvinyl chloride (PVC) extrusion where such a weatherstrip insertion tool includes a weatherstrip entrance and an extrusion entrance in an upstream end, a first insertion nub for inserting a first side of the attachment base of the weatherstrip through the t-slot entrance and under the first flange, a second insertion nub for forcing a second side of the attachment base down into the t-slot entrance, and a third insertion nub for forcing the second side of the attachment base laterally under the second flange, and an extrusion exit in a downstream face.
