The invention relates to a wet end (10) of a paper or board machine and a method for the production of a fibrous web. The wet end section (10) has a twin-wire section (US), into which two wires (16, 18) are guided approximately parallel to each other, and into which a fibrous material suspension (27) is introduced. The twin-wire section (US) is looped around a roller (22). At the roller (22), means (30, 32, 38) are provided for immobilizing the fibrous material suspension in the twin-wire section (US) and forming of the fibrous web. In addition, the wet end has means (32, 34, 36; 34, 36, 66) for the further draining of the fibrous web. The roller (22) is a combined forming and drainage roller (22), having a forming sector (FS), where the immobilising means (30, 32, 38) are arranged, as well as a drainage sector (ES), lying behind the forming sector (FS) in the moving direction of the wire, and where at least a preponderant part of the drainage means (32-36; 34, 36, 66) is arranged.
L'invention concerne une partie humide (10) d'une machine à papier ou à carton, ainsi qu'un procédé de production d'une bande de matière fibreuse. La partie humide (10) présente une section à double toile (US), dans laquelle deux toiles (16, 18) sont guidées de façon pratiquement parallèle l'une par rapport à l'autre, et dans laquelle est introduite une suspension de matière fibreuse (27). La section à double toile (US) est enroulée autour d'un cylindre (22) sur lequel sont prévus des moyens (30, 32, 38) pour immobiliser la suspension de matière fibreuse dans la section à double toile (US) tout en formant la bande de matière fibreuse. En outre, la partie humide présente des moyens (32, 34, 36; 34, 36, 66) pour égoutter davantage la bande de matière fibreuse. Le cylindre (22) est constitué d'une combinaison d'un cylindre de formation et d'égouttage (22) qui comporte un secteur de formation (FS) dans lequel sont placés les moyens d'immobilisation (30, 32, 38), ainsi qu'un secteur d'égouttage (ES) situé en arrière du secteur de formation (FS) dans le sens de défilement de la toile. Au moins la majeure partie des moyens d'égouttage (32-36; 34, 36, 66) sont placés dans le secteur d'égouttage (ES).
