A winch comprising a closed frame being adapted to be secured to a structure. A reel has a drum and spaced apart flanges on the drum. A cable attachment on the drum and/or the flanges is adapted for connection to a free end of a cable. The reel is supported by the frame so as to axially rotate in the frame. The reel is adapted to be actuated to wind/unwind a cable on the drum portion, such that a load connected to the cable is supported, pulled or lifted by the winch. The closed frame prevents the cable from falling off the winch when wound/unwound by the reel.

Il s'agit d'un treuil comprenant un bâti fermé adapté pour être fixé à une structure. Une dérouleuse comporte une tambour et des flasques séparées sur le tambour. Une fixation de câble sur le tambour et/ou les flasques est adaptée au raccordement à une extrémité libre de câble. La dérouleuse est soutenue par le bâti de façon à tourner sur son axe dans le bâti. La dérouleuse est adaptée pour déclencher l'enroulement ou le déroulement d'un câble sur la partie du tambour, de sorte qu'une charge raccordée au câble soit supportée, tirée ou soulevée par le treuil. Le bâti fermé empêche le câble de tomber du treuil lors qu'il est enroulé ou déroulé par la dérouleuse.
