-16- Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to an elastomer composition which is suitable for use as windshield wiper material. The composition comprises fully saturated backboned elastomer, curitive for the elastomer in amounts sufficient to crosslink the elastomer, and at least 25 weight percent particulate graphite, based on the weight of the saturated backboned elastomer. The particulate graphite modifies the frictional properties of the fully saturated backboned elastomer. The composition has excellent weatherability and low friction and thus is ideally suitable for making windshield wiper blades.
