ABSTRACT A woodworking machine having one or more tenoning and mortising spindles, which is associated with a sectioning device and a swivelling rolling table are assigned. The rolling table comprises a rolling carriage and a table plate capable of accepting the workpiece and can be swivelled about a vertical axis in relation to the rolling carriage. The machine is designed in such a way that, despite the capacity of the rolling table or its table plate to swivel through all angular positions, the length of a piece of framing lumber being processed upon such machine is either caused to be or remains the same. According to the invention, the vertical swivelling axis of the rolling table or its table plate lie at the intersection of two perpendicular planes, of which one is parallel to the feed direction of the rolling table, while the lateral surface of the saw blade of the sectioning device facing the rolling table or workpiece is situated in such a plane. One of the two vertical longitudinal surfaces of such workpiece lies in the other plane. Both planes on the side of the first plane facing the rolling table, form an angle greater than 90°.
