A topical composition containing capsazepine and particularly suitable for treating neurogenic skin disorders and diseases, especially painful and/or pruriginous diseases, as well as for treating sensitive skin and eyes. In particular, the composition is useful for preventing and/or controlling skin and/or eye irritation, itching, erythema and dysaesthesia and heating of the skin, eyes and mucosa, as well as for reducing the irritancy of an active substance having an irritant side-effect.

L'invention se rapporte à une composition topique contenant de la capsazépine destinée notamment au traitement des désordres et des maladies de la peau d'origine neurogène, notamment des maladies douloureuses et/ou prurigineuses, ainsi qu'au traitement des peaux et yeux sensibles. Cette composition permet en particulier de prévenir et/ou lutter contre les irritations cutanées et/ou oculaires, les prurits, les érythèmes, les sensations dysesthésiques et d'échauffement de la peau, des yeux et des muqueuses ainsi que de diminuer l'action irritante d'un actif à effet secondaire irritant.
