In a method for coating a substrate, preferably a cellulosic substrate, an aqueous coating comprising a polymer having carbonyl functional moities may be tandem coated directly onto or beneath an UV cured coating. The method provides a low VOC system which offers good adhesion between the two coatings.

Dans une méthode de revêtement d'un substrat, de préférence un substrat cellulosique, un revêtement aqueux à base de polymère renfermant des fractions carbonylées peut être appliqué en tandem directement sur un revêtement réticulé par les UV ou par dessous ce dernier. La méthode permet d'obtenir un système à faible teneur en COV, avec une bonne adhérence entre les deux revêtements.
