The present invention relates to a guide rail for a power tool with an auxiliary guide component having a locating block and a main guide component. The guide rail has a fixing device to connect the auxiliary guide component to the main guide component. The locating block has a taper-tilted edge that may be connected to a corresponding edge of the fixing device.
