A bone shaver and its method of use are described. The bone shaver comprises a top plate (32) with a fixed handle (22) fixedly attached to the top plate and a bottom plate (40) slidably attached to the top plate. The top plate further comprises an anvil at its end. The bottom plate comprises a foot plate (42) and a cutting edge (44) on the foot plate. A moveable handle (24) is attached to the bottom plate. Movement of the moveable handle towards the fixed handle results in movement of the bottom plate towards the top plate. A cutting edge is provided on the foot plate to thereby cut tissue when the handles are squeezed together.

La présente invention concerne un racloir à os et son procédé d'utilisation. Il comprend une plaque supérieure (32) dont est solidaire une poignée fixe (22), et une plaque inférieure (40) fixée à la plaque supérieure de façon à coulisser. La plaque supérieure comprend en outre une enclume à son extrémité. La plaque inférieure comprend une plaque de base (42) qui comporte un tranchant (44). Une poignée mobile (24) est fixée sur la plaque inférieure. Un déplacement de cette poignée vers la poignée fixe a pour effet de déplacer la plaque inférieure vers la plaque supérieure. La plaque de base possède un tranchant pour couper les tissus quand on serre les poignées.
