A multi-format camera head comprises a light-sensor array (1) having light- sensitive elements (211, 212, , 221, 222, ) arranged in a plurality of element lines (21, 22, ...), and element readout means (4, 9) connected to said light- sensor array (1) for outputting a signal representative of a quantity of light received by elements of a number of contiguous element lines. The readout means (4, 9) is adapted to selectively set the number of element lines to 5.bullet.n or 6.bullet.n, n being an integer.

La présente invention concerne un bloc de caméra multiformat qui comprend un réseau de capteurs optiques (1) comprenant des éléments photosensibles (211, 212,..., 221, 222...) agencés en une pluralité de lignes d'éléments (21, 22, ...), et des moyens de lecture d'éléments (4, 9) reliés au réseau de capteurs optiques précité (1) afin de produire un signal représentatif d'une quantité de lumière reçue par des éléments d'un nombre de lignes d'éléments contiguës. Les moyens de lecture (4,9) sont aptes à régler sélectivement le nombre de lignes d'éléments sur 5 n ou 6 n, n étant un entier.
