An instrument (10) for applying clips in surgery having an operating handle with operating components and a removable clip cartridge (141) with clip applying mechanism. THe handle operating components (22) generate reciprocal linear motion imparted to the clip applying mechanism and accommodate rotation of the cartridge about a cartridge axis. An anti-backup mechanism (24) constrains operating components to complete first and second strokes of reciprocal linear motion. The clip applying mechanism actuated by received reciprocal motion applies a clip in surgery, isolates the next clip, and prepares for loading the isolated clip into the jaws on a first stroke, and on the second stroke, opens the jaws and pushes the isolated clip into the open jaws.
L'invention concerne un instrument permettant d'appliquer des agrafes dans une intervention chirurgicale et comprenant un manche fonctionnel à composants fonctionnels et une cartouche d'agrafes amovible dotée d'un mécanisme d'application d'agrafes. Les composants fonctionnels du manche produisent un mouvement linéaire réciproque conféré au mécanisme d'application d'agrafes et ils reçoivent une rotation de la cartouche autour d'un axe. Un mécanisme d'anti-blocage contraint des composants fonctionnels de terminer des première et seconde courses de mouvement linéaire réciproque. Le mécanisme d'application d'agrafes commandé par un mouvement réciproque reçu applique une agrafe dans une intervention chirurgicale, isole l'agrafe suivante et prépare le chargement de l'agrafe isolée dans les mâchoires pendant la première course et ouvre, pendant la seconde course, les mâchoires et pousse l'agrafe isolée dans les mâchoires ouvertes.
