A method and apparatus for decoding encoded data bits of a wireless communication transmission are provided. A set of a-priori bit values corresponding to known bit values of a response message expected to be transmitted in response to a previously transmitted message. Example expected response messages include clear to send (CTS) messages transmitted in response to request to send (RTS) messages and positive acknowledgement (ACK) messages transmitted in response to messages with data payloads.

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil destinés à décoder des bits de données codées dune transmission de communication sans fil. Un ensemble de valeurs de bit a priori correspondant à des valeurs de bit connues dun message de réponse qui doit être transmis en réponse à un message préalablement transmis. Des messages de réponse prévus donnés à titre dexemple comprennent des messages prêts à émettre (CTS) transmis en réponse à des messages de demande démission (RTS) et des messages daccusé de réception (ACK) positif transmis en réponse à des messages contenant des données utiles.
