The invention relates to a method and a device for flushing water toilets that can be flushed with one or more selectable, adjustable amount(-s) of water, and that allows use/fitting during production of new toilets as well as easy retrofitting in existing water toilets. The device for performing the method is a complete cartridge replacing the existing float/valve flushing device. The discharged amount of water is determined by a pre-adjustable period of time between that point in time when an operating device for flushing (9S, 9F) is actuated, and the point in time when the flusing reservoir discharge valve (2), opened by said operating device, is automatically closed again, rather than sensing the water level inside the flushing reservoir and allowing said level to control the closing of the discharge valve. The method and the device are a. o. characterised by the adjustable period of time being determined by a hydraulic timer device using water from the flushing reservoir for its operation.
Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un dispositif de chasse d'eau pour toilettes au moyen d'une ou de plusieurs quantités d'eau réglables et sélectionnables, ce dispositif pouvant être aussi bien utilisé/installé dans de nouvelles toilettes que facilement adapté dans des toilettes existantes à chasse d'eau. Le dispositif de réalisation de ce procédé est constitué par une cartouche complète remplaçant le dispositif de chasse à clapet et flotteur existant. La quantité d'eau déchargée est déterminée par une période préréglable entre le moment où on actionne le dispositif de déclenchement de la chasse (9S, 9F) et le moment où le clapet de décharge (2) du réservoir de chasse, ouvert par ce dispositif d'actionnement, se referme automatiquement, plutôt qu'en détectant le niveau d'eau à l'intérieur du réservoir de chasse et en permettant à ce niveau de commander la fermeture du clapet de décharge. Ce procédé et ce dispositif se caractérisent notamment par la période réglable déterminée par une minuterie hydraulique utilisant de l'eau provenant du réservoir de chasse pour son fonctionnement.
