Disclosed herein are chimeric antigens, comprising an hepatitis C virus (HCV) antigen and a Fc fragment of an immunoglobulin for eliciting an immune response against said antigen. The immune response is enhanced by presenting the host immune system with an immune response domain (HCV antigen from HCV core, envelope, or non-structural protein fragments) and a target binding domain (an Fc fragment). By virtue of the target binding domain, antigen presenting cells internalize and process the chimeric antigens for antigen presentation, thereby eliciting both a humoral and cellular immune response.
cette invention concerne des antigènes chimères contenant un antigène du virus de l'hépatite C (VHC) et un fragment Fc d'une immunoglobuline capables de provoquer une réponse immunitaire audit antigène. Il est possible d'accentuer cette réponse immunitaire en présentant au système immun hôte un domaine de réponse immunitaire (antigène VHC tiré du noyau ou de l'enveloppe VHC ou de fragments de protéine non structuraux) et un domaine de liaison cible (un fragment Fc). Grâce au domaine de liaison cible, les cellules présentant l'antigène internalisent et transforment les antigènes chimères pour présentation, ce qui provoque une réponse immunitaire tant humorale que cellulaire.
