A homogenization valve design yields improved homogenization efficiency. The length of the valve surface relative to the valve seat or land is controlled so that the overlap is limited. This allows convergence between turbulent mixing layers and a homogenization zone. Preferably some overlap is provided, however, to contribute to the stability of the valves and avoid destructive chattering.

L'invention concerne une soupape d'homogénéisation, conçue pour atteindre un rendement d'homogénéisation amélioré. La longueur superficielle de ladite soupape est régulée par rapport à son siège ou à sa cloison, de manière à limiter le chevauchement entre cette soupape et son siège ou sa cloison, permettant ainsi la convergence de couches de mélange turbulentes et d'une zone d'homogénéisation. Un certain chevauchement est néanmoins assuré, afin de contribuer à la stabilité des soupapes et d'éviter un broutement préjudiciable.
